Today as we were grocery shopping, Vincent offered several times to help me pay for groceries. I told him that it was a very sweet thing for him to offer, but I understood if he wanted to put his money toward something else. At the check out stand he finally decided to save it for something else.
Afterwards, we had a few other errands to run. While at Walmart, he found something else for himself and his brother, so he decided to buy that instead. As he was checking out, he threw something on the counter and said “don’t look Mommy, I found something for you too.”

He held onto this item and told me that he was going to give it to me for Valentines day. He kept mentioning it. That evening when I took the girls to ballet, Vincent jumped out of his carseat, ran over to me and said “Mommy, I got this for you and want to give it to you now instead of on Valentines Day!” and then he gave me this sweet pink necklace! He been holding onto it the entire time and was so anxious to give it to me! He is certainly a sweet and caring young man!
