2 girls

When Brian and I got married I had 2 handkerchiefs that I wrapped around my bouquet of flowers. They represented my “something old.” I don’t know why I chose two handkerchiefs. I remember thinking it would be neat to photograph my daughter in one. Think baby bunting style photo. Well, that didn’t happen, and that is ok. However, I realized that I had 2 handkerchiefs. Two handkerchiefs that I planned on giving to my daughter. When I got married I had no idea how many daughters I would have. I knew I wanted 4 kids. I knew I wanted 2 girls and 2 boys. What I did not know was God’s plans for our life. I just hoped that it involved 2 daughters. 10 years later as we celebrated our marriage I came across the 2 handkerchiefs and smiled at the thought of my 2 daughters one day carrying down the very handkerchiefs that I carried.
