I realize that it has been a while since I have updated the website….so here we go.

We took Vincent to his 1 year check up on July 12. He is 20 pounds 9 1/2 ounces and he is 30 1/4 inches tall. Developmentally he is at a 15-18 month old level!!!! He says more than a dozen words, can imitate 9 animal sounds, knows almost 10 signs, is walking, climbing, stacks mega blocks and regular blocks, and multiple other things beyond his age level! He sure does make us proud.

Within the last month he started climbing on furniture. Lately he has been climbing on our leather chair and angled ottoman and then sliding down head first. He has also been climbing the couch, thankfully he only does that occasionally. He continues to love trucks and other things with wheels. We recently took him to the fair here in our small town. Among the many events taking place was a tractor pull. His eyes stayed wide open with interest in the festivities. We went to the midway afterwards and he loved watching the sites and sounds from the games and rides. Fortunately for him we also had the chance to see the livestock that were on display. He loved walking through the exhibits while “mooing, quacking, and neighing.” Recently his Nana Kat sent him another gift card from Target and we knew that we had to get Vincent a Fisher Price barn. So far he has loved it. Vincent however, is still very much into all of the great birthday presents he received recently. I could list them all, but that could take a while. So far his favorites have been the truck from his Grandad & Grandma, his sandtable from Nana Kat and of course the ball (just the ball) from the t-ball stand that Mommy & Daddy picked out.

We are in the middle of redoing the website, so please bear with us. Brian has surgery on Friday so he will be here stuck at the computer (poor guy) working hard on the site. Feel free to leave your comments below.
