The fall always brings an air of change around our home. This fall was no different. We were waiting for change. Anticipating it. And yet, it hadn’t happened yet. It was almost unnerving waiting to see where we were going, if anywhere. We opted to be content in where God had us, Killeen Texas, our last duty station in the Army. We dove into our new homeschool community, Classical Conversations of Harker Heights. We made some great friends and built relationships. However, the feeling that we were in transition was still so fresh in our minds. At the end of the month we all needed a relaxing day. One that allowed us to get creative and even a little messy. After a visit with my grandparents we came home with bags of crayons and markers. We unloaded the van and looked at the colors knowing something was ready to be colored. I found some adult coloring pages and some coloring books and we all sat down, one by one, and began to color. It was quite relaxing and I am glad we took the time to do so. We got a little silly and some of us were perfectionist, but it was all fun in the end.
We had no idea of the changes that came the following month.
