A Saturday without Plans

During this time in our life we have decided to step back from continuous activities and be picky on how we spend our free time. Even so, our weekends somehow manage to become full quickly. This weekend, however, we had nothing on the agenda. Nothing at all.
With the temperature dropping outside we all felt like pulling on warm fuzzy clothes and staying home, so we did. The kids colored, built, sang, played, and created. We heard giggling at times. Other times we found them curled up with a book reading. Ruby joined me as I worked on cutting designs and making a new throw pillow. Kenniston and Brian sang a song together.

As our weekends begin to fill I will remember to keep some free so we can once again take time to relax and enjoy a slow Saturday.
