Knowing that we wanted to have as much time to celebrate Christmas as possible, we planned to get our Christmas tree the day after Thanksgiving. After dropping Brian’s mom off at the airport, we headed to the Silo Christmas tree farm. We have gotten our tree there every year since we moved here. It is kind of a neat tradition.
The kids love running through the field of trees…
jumping in the pile of hay…
and playing tether ball.
Brian thinks he is going to beat Vincent and I…bwahahaha….
In the end we bought a pre-cut tree from…get this, WASHINGTON. HA!
What can I say, Texas just doesn’t have the weather that works for growing great Christmas trees. That is ok, it makes up in many other ways!
