Yup, I am back at it. Out walking again and it feels.so.good.
Lately we have been “conditioning” the kids. When we travel we are going to be walking a lot. We hope to visit Boston, NYC, Washington DC and many other places along the way. Each time we will be walking, most likely several miles a day, so we want the kids to be used to walking, a lot.
I have also started carrying my backpack around regularly. I want to be used to having the extra weight on my back. I carry a purse on a regular basis, but when we are out and about all day long during our travels, I will have a backpack to carry all of our goods. Eventually the kids will carry backpacks as well, but for now, we are just preparing them for all of the walking.
