I voted

It was a long night.  It involved Ruby waking up with a very high fever.  It wouldn’t go down.  She started hallucinating.  She didn’t know who I was or where she was.  She saw things coming out of the walls.  It was scary.

Then, our dryer stopped working properly.  It was taking hours to dry clothes.  Our dyer is only a year old.

I got a total of 3 hours of sleep.  It was awful


I still voted though.  I took our grouchy, feverish children to the nearby polling place and by golly I voted.  It is a privilege to be able to chose the leader of our country and I wanted to make sure I took a part in that.  Unfortunately the guy I wanted to win, did not in fact win.  It didn’t matter, I played my part and now all I can do is pray and continue to love others and hope for the best for our country’s future…

As far as Ruby’s fever (and Jack’s cold)….it was a double ear infection for Ruby and a possible ear infection for Jack.  They are both on the road to getting better…
