Real life

As someone who is educated in photography, I make sure to “keep the background clean.” In other words, if I am going to take a photograph I make sure the background isn’t distracting. Not only does this help keep the viewers eye on the subject, it helps give the illusion that my house is actually um clean. Well, it’s not. It’s not fithly, but it isn’t always clean by any means.

Right now, it really isn’t clean. Our dining room is a mess. As we prepare to put our house on the market things are in disarray. If you have known me for any given time you may know that disarray and I don’t get along very well. I tend to tackle disarray while turning into a bear. God has worked with me a bit and taught me how to handle things a little better. I am a work in progress.

For now I have to turn a blind eye to my kitchen. It currently looks like this:

A box is either labeled to be packed into a storage shed or to be put into a travel trailer. Other stuff is left out to be used between now and the time we eventually sell our house, move into a trialer, then eventually travel.

Ahhhh, life in disarray, I am learning to embrace it. Sort of.
You may want to pray for us. Please.
