Thanksgiving…as a complete family

I love that we can enjoy Thanksgiving as a complete family…in our own home!  As a military family, this isn’t always the case.

It was a nice relaxing day.  It started bright and early…I even got to watch the sun rise…

Time to put the #turkey in the oven. *yawn*

After the turkey was in the oven (and the kiddos finally got up!), we headed out for our traditional Krispy Kreme run.  It’s one of the only two times a year we eat the sugary treat…

Our annual #KrispyKreme tradition.

Then we hung out and giggled while watching the Macy’s parade…

The girls testing the strength of daddy's legs.

And well, some of us danced a bit…

And we goofed off while we waited for the yummy food to cook…

So wrong it's right. #funonthanksgiving

Nana and Papa Scott joined us for lunch, which was wonderful!  Our bellies were filled, so we had to run off the extra energy…

A football game seemed like a good idea!

McGoobers vs Grandparents. McGoobers won.

I think we wore Papa Scott out…

All in all, it was a fabulous day.  I enjoyed spending it with people I love and yummy food in my belly.  We all found reasons to be thankful.

We have a lot to be #thankful for.
