Turns out..

Kenniston wasn’t just tired with out reason.
And she wasn’t just a picky eater for 3 or 4 days.
Jack hasn’t been fussy because he is just “2.”
Vincent’s cheeks aren’t rosey because of allergies.
Jack didn’t just randomly puke and turn down food for a few days.
The twins haven’t been tired because they were up all night partying.
Jack did not come across a poisonous plant at the park yesterday.
Nor does he have an allergy.
The red on Jack’s face has not been my imagination.
And Jack did not have hives on his feet today.

However, they are all probably suffereing from Fifth Disease.

I thought Kenniston’s symptoms had gone on a bit long, and truth be known I confided in a friend my worry of something more than just a cold. I feel much better knowing that my Mommy instincts weren’t with out cause, though I feel even better knowing that Fifth Disease is not that big of a deal. It is just painful. And long. And ugly. And itchy. Oye. We could certainly use some prayers around here. I could stand to give more grace, in the meantime cuddling with my children to help them ease their pain isn’t bad at all! Let’s just hope that they don’t have the symptoms for the typical “weeks to months” period.

{Jack’s hand, which doesn’t look that bad here, but when it flares up it looks red and splotchy}
