Wacky Day (aka Leap Year)

This week we have been celebrating the birth and life of Theodor Seuss Geisel, also known as Dr Seuss. His Birthday was March 2nd, so the day is now known nationwide as “Read Across America Day.” One of his books is called “Wacky Wednesday,” so seeing how this Wednesday is a wacky day of sorts, we decided to officially call it “Wacky Wednesday” here in McGovernville. Seems fitting too.

We headed to Starbucks for dessert, for breakfast. While we ate our cakepops we read the story Wacky Wednesday. We headed to the grocery store, then ran to Barnes and Noble, then ran off to have lunch with Brian for our weekly lunch date with Daddy.

Afterwards we headed to gymnastics, then met our friends for our regular Wednesday playdate at McDonalds.

We came home and finished our day off by eating breakfast and reading more Dr. Seuss books.

All day long we looked like this:

Wacky Wednesday, let's do this! #leapyearfun #drseussbirthday

Yup, pretty wacky!
